Camp Macy's

Summertime has finally arrived in New York City! After what has felt like countless months of winter cold, it’s now time to put on your favorite shorts (for me, that's my cutoff jean shorts), play some summer tunes and hit the beach or go camping—that's what I'll be doing with my family and friends. If you're not the outdoorsy type, you can come to Macy’s where we're celebrating the summer season and camping indoors as part of the American Icons program. All summer long, we're highlighting this country and the people, places and things that make it so great. Camping is definitely one of those things!

On Sunday, June 14, Macy’s Herald Square and several other locations are hosting a fun summer-themed, in-store event called Camp Macy’s. Join us at Camp Macy’s for an afternoon of fun filled with summertime activities celebrating the people, places and things we love! Show us your American spirit at our craft table where you can weave an American flag, color a patriotic bottle holder and create a camp sticker book. Sit around our camp ‘fire’ for storytelling, music and a special appearance by Smokey Bear. And, enjoy complimentary Kool-Aid Jammers.

While you're in the store, don’t forget to check out the top American designers' summer styles to complete your summer wardrobe. Cutoff jean shorts and cool tees from Inc., Denim and Supply and Tommy Hilfiger. Flip flops from Calvin Klein, Coach and Ralph Lauren. Sunglasses from Coach, Michael Kors and Oakley. You can also shop for your summer home as well as bed and bath needs with the Martha Stewart Collection. Macy’s is your one-stop shop for summer wardrobe and home products!

If you're visiting Macy’s Herald Square from near or far, stop by the Visitor Center located on the Balcony Level for your 10% Savings Pass, good for thousands of items throughout the store. Wherever your travels take you in the United States, you can stop by a Macy’s store and ask for your 10% Savings Pass.

Here’s to a great all-American summer!
