Join us for a Holiday Cookie Party on Sunday, November 22 and decorate your very own cookie* with The Creative Kitchen and 11-year-old baking mogul Cory Nieves of Mr. Cory's Cookies. Plus, shop to holiday tunes by 12-year-old DJ sensation, DJ Fulano. Haven't heard about Mr. Cory's Cookies? At just 9 years old, Mr. Cory turned his dream of making the world better for everyone he knows in to reality. Starting with selling hot cocoa to raise funds, he soon expanded in to lemonade and cookies. His dream grew to include an all-natural cookie. After experimenting, Mr. Cory and his mom finally found the perfect mixture for creating an all-natural chocolate chip cookie. Read more about Mr. Cory’s Cookies on their website. The Creative Kitchen, helmed by Cricket Azima, strives to educate children on how to make balanced food choices. She strives to teach more than a recipe or basic cooking techniques, with a teaching philosophy that is based on the educational benefits of cooking. Cricket believes that kids can learn about more than just food while in the kitchen classroom, whether that’s history, geography, math, reading, social studies, nutrition, science, foreign language, or art.
