Calling all foodies! La Cuisine, a hot restaurant located in the Macy’s South Coast Plaza Home Store, offers everything from culinary lessons and cooking demonstrations to mouthwatering dishes. You'll definitely want to stop by during Friday night happy hours when small plates are just $5.
La Cuisine cooking classes make for a great group outing. In his Chef 101 class, Chef Laurant Brazier teaches the basics of cooking, everything from the techniques for creating everyday Italian dishes to the secrets of preparing a perfect seafood dish. The class is ideal for groups of 10-15 people. Prices start at $85 per person, depending on the particular class selected.
If cooking isn’t your thing, wine, dine and learn at one of the La Cuisine Wine & Food Pairing Classes with Executive Chef Laurant Brazier. Each class features a five-course “small plates” meal with wine pairings; you'll learn how to pair wine with the dishes, why some wines work better than others, and the basic principles of matching wine with your favorite foods. Prices for this class start at $95 per person.
