Macy’s provides a variety of services tailored to the needs of convention and meeting planners in any locale where there is a Macy’s store—from special store discounts for attendees and pop-up shops at meeting sites to in-store private events and group programs for attendees and their families.
Macy’s Visitor Savings Pass
Macy’s provides a 10% Visitor Savings Pass for both domestic and international visitors and it makes for an ideal addition to registrant welcome bags. Meeting attendees can use the savings pass during their down time to go shopping at Macy’s.

eCoupon and eBlast Savings Offers
For convention and meeting planners who would prefer to extend savings opportunities to their attendees via electronic means, such as the offers area of their website or designated convention app, Macy’s provides an eCoupon option with a special promotional code. Attendees can show the coupon on their mobile device when purchasing Macy’s products to receive the discount.
Convention planners can also provide discounts by sending a Macy’s savings pass to their attendees in an eBlast prior to the convention or meeting.
Private Events, Shopping Parties and Group Program Options
Macy’s also rents out space for private events, stages them and conducts group programs for convention and meeting participants. Options include evening cocktail events held on the sales floor; VIP Shopping Parties held during meeting down times or early in the morning prior to store opening; or a customized version of Macy’s group programs or store tours.

The prices of these programs depend on the specific parameters, and can either be quoted on the basis of cost, or negotiated on the basis of in-kind sponsorship.

Pop-Up Shops at Convention Sites and Hotels
To lend a truly unique aspect to a convention, Macy’s can set up a pop-up shop featuring Macy’s store merchandise (for example, sunglasses or cosmetics) at the convention center, hotel or other meeting site. The pop-up shop can function as a stand-alone entity or be integrated into a broader marketplace environment.
Macy’s stores incorporate both quick-bite and sit-down restaurants, and they can be made available as dining options for conference attendees in a variety of ways.
