Each year Macy’s selects 100 schools nationwide to be awards with a $1,000 grant to support productions of the musical, “Yes, Virginia”. Don’t miss the students from Chicago’s own Adlai E. Stevenson Elementary School performing an excerpt from the exciting extension of Macy’s Believe campaign.
Those Funny Little People

Enjoy a wacky holiday performance by Those Funny Little People. With their expressive, animated faces and intricate choreography. Those Funny Little People will put on a show to amaze and entertain audiences of all ages.
Believe Day Family Fun
12pm, 5th Floor, Kid’s Department
Join us for some holiday family fun with face painting and balloon twisting! Then, get creative at our Believe craft station and create your very own “Yes, Virginia” coloring page and a holiday ornament to take home. There will also be lots of cool music for the whole family to enjoy. And while you’re here don’t forget to stop by the Believe Station to mail your letter to Santa!
Holiday Floral Demonstration
12pm, 6th Floor, Glassware Department
Anthony Gowder Designs will be on site demonstrating how to arrange beautiful flowers into easy (and impressive) holiday décor. They will be creating formal and informal to inspire all your holiday entertaining.
Takashi Yagihashi Cooking Demonstration
12pm, 7th Floor, Culinary Studio
Join Macy’s Culinary Council Chef Takashi Yagihashi as he shares his award-winning holiday recipes. The best part? There’ll be plenty of scrumptious samples to enjoy! With any purchase of $35* or more in the Home department, receive a $10 Macy’s gift card, ** and a copy of Chef Yagihashi’s cookbook Taskashi’s Noodles,** which he will sign directly after the demonstration.
