Howdy y’all and welcome to Texas! Rodeo season is upon us and it’s time to spruce up your wardrobe with a new pair of boots, some jeans, a hat and any other fun item you think will lend you some western flair while you're visiting the Lone Star State. I'd like to personally invite you to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, taking place right now through March 20, 2016. While you’re in town, stop by any of our fifteen Macy’s stores to pick up some country western gear or schedule an appointment with a My Stylist @ Macy's stylist who can help you look the part—I stopped in to visit Deyna Patino and she showed me some of the cool traditional looks that Houstonians are sporting these days. What a great experience!

Houston is not only hot in terms of looks but also temperature—the sun is shining bright here. So why not indulge in some TLC for your skin when you're here? I encourage you to schedule a facial and/or makeover at any of our cosmetic counters, as I did this past weekend. My appointment with Shiseido was divine and I learned a few new tricks for enhancing my look from Luis Casco, who served as the lead makeup artist on Project Runway, Season 14.

There are many enjoyable special events taking place in our stores that can help you get a handle on the latest trends in fashion and cookware. On March 12, I'll be attending the Get Glam & Get Going event at Macy’s Memorial City where three top bloggers will showcase the hottest trends of the season. On March 19 at Macy’s The Woodlands Mall, Macy’s Culinary Council Chef Rick Bayless will fire up some Mexican brunch favs with a twist.

So come on over—you're sure to have a great time!
