Four food trucks have permanently parked on Chef Street, featuring authentic Japanese ramen noodles, crispy chicken wings and sandwiches, delicious Latin-influenced dishes, and classic American burgers, fries and milkshakes. You can also customize your own creation at our salad bar, or pick up something from our grab n’ go area, with special menu items made fresh daily!

TABO Noodles by Takashi Yagihashi offers signature Japanese ramen noodles and Japanese fried rice.

The Rooster’s Crow
This airstream trailer serves offers a variety of chicken wings, French fries and a spicy chicken sandwich.

Sabroso
Here, you’ll find delicious Latin-influenced dishes such as a Cuban sandwich, a half rotisserie chicken, roasted marinated pork shoulder, fried green plantains and sweet plantain chips.

Rollie’s
This trailer offers classic American burgers, fries and milkshakes.

Chef Profile, TABO Noodles: Takashi Yagihashi

Takashi Yagihashi opened his namesake Chicago restaurant, Takashi, in December 2007 to immediate critical and consumer success. In 2010, Takashi earned a star rating from the Michelin Guide Chicago, one of only eighteen restaurants to do so. The restaurant continued to earn a star rating from 2011 through 2015. Takashi's Japanese noodle restaurant opened in 2006 at Macy’s on State Street in Chicago and TABO Noodles in Macy’s Herald Square opened in December, 2015.

In 2000, Takashi graced the cover of Food and Wine as one of America’s ten Best New Chefs, and in 2003, he was selected Best Chef Midwest by the esteemed James Beard Foundation. His first cookbook, Takashi’s Noodles, was released in April 2009. Takashi has appeared and competed on Top Chef Masters (where he was awarded as the fan favorite), Top Chef Duels (where he was a finalist), Iron Chef and the Martha Stewart Show.
