Junior girls: 90s throwbacks
Start the 2016 school year off in style with new spins on old-school 90s grunge—today’s hottest fashion trend. At Macy’s, the look gets a fresh and fun attitude in plaid shirts, distressed denim and overalls. Pair wide-legged jeans with chunky platform shoes or booties and you’ll have the ideal classroom silhouette. Clad in denim anything—dresses, shirts or pants—you’ll be both comfortable and on trend.
Young men: Classic gets quirky with Macy’s denim and tees
At Macy’s, young men can prep for the bell with cool takes on iconic 90s fashion—classic and distressed denim and quirky tees. Images of 90s video games, TV shows and clever memes lend tees a captivating modern twist and high-top chukkas with athletic soles turn cuffed jeans trendy.
Kids: Scaled-down 90s rule the school
Kids fashion is also taking on the spirit of the 90s while redefining it. Young girls can rock the halls with Macy’s flannel dresses or cuffed denim while boys can master classroom comfort with graphic tees featuring gaming and skateboard images.

Macy’s has partnered with Grammy®, Tony® and Academy Award®-winning legend Sir Elton John, along with Grammy and Golden Globe®-winning icon Lady Gaga to create Love Bravery, a high-spirited, limited-edition line of clothing and accessories that inspire compassion and combat prejudice. Perfect for anyone heading back to school, Love Bravery includes shirts, sweats, outerwear, clutches, backpacks, scarves, beanies, keychains, pins and even speakers, water bottles and skateboards, all rendered in vibrant graphic prints and designs that fuse both artists’ renowned musical talent and revered inimitable style.
Love Bravery is sold exclusively at select Macy’s stores and on macys.com/lovebravery and will be available globally later this year. The limited-edition line is on sale through Aug. 30, 2016. One quarter of the purchase price benefits Born This Way Foundation, which turns over half of what they receive to support the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
